If you are like a lot of our clients, then lack of time can be a real issue for you. It’s easy to have a plan for the day and then end the day wondering where all of the time went.

This is why it’s important to have a simple way to track where your time is going, what you’re spending time on that you shouldn’t be and then either eliminate or delegate some of your tasks.

Attached here is a simple one page sheet we use with our clients – we call it a Time Log. The idea is to print out 10 of these sheets and then use one for each day over the next 2 weeks. Write down what you’re spending time on and then review it at the end of the fortnight. This is the first step in a 3 step process that we will cover over the next few video blogs…

  1. Time Log
  2. Skills / Value Matrix
  3. Default Diary

By the time you go through this 3-step process you’ll have delegated the less valuable/enjoyable tasks and have a plan to keep you focused week-in and week-out in your business.
